Bio
Our bones screAm What's it all meAn Life is but a dreAm?
My name is Ron Potter. I'm a freelance composer who underscores independent films, creates hybrid-cinematic instrumentals, and produces artist albums (industrial rock and eclectic satire). I've also made production music and have had my music on shows like Tyler Perry's Sistas, Oprah Winfrey's Dr Oz, MTV's Catfish and more. Would love to get more syncs and composing gigs.
I share birthdays with the late Edgar Allan Poe. In fact, my mother learned English by memorizing Poe poems and Bible verses. My birthday is also the day we recognize Martin Luther King Jr, who once famously went off his original script and declared, “I have a dream!”
I am also blessed with dreams, of darkness and Light. I am a licensed and ordained minister. I am a business man and a catalyst. I am a teacher and a believer in Jesus Christ; who died, came back to life; and offers salvation and forgiveness of sins for eternal life to all who believe.
“Let not your heart be troubled.” (John 14:1) I believe Jesus is at the center of human history and why humanity's calendar is split between B.C. and A.D. I love people and want to help people. I love God because He first loved me. I am a seeker of truth and have reverent fear for the Wrath of God because this life as we know it; it has a deadline.
What is your heart troubled about? What is your dream? Do you know why you are here? Let's chat!
